Since a local compagny told me NOT to publish any lyrics, because of the copyright, I am forced to show you in another way that your name is to be found in a lyric.

We will no longer provide you the lyrics, but will try to direct you to those lyrics, or at least tell you the artist with the title of the song.

All you have to do is search for your name in the search field and see if your name is listed.

Because there are so many name, it is possible that your name is not listed yet, but if you know a song with your name in it, or find your name, but a specific song is not listed, please let us know by email.

The reason that I started this site is very simple:

• I always wondered how many song have names hinden in the lyrics.
  Some are easy to hear, some are hidden. But if you listen carefully, you hear some too.
• I like to collect as many names as possible and will try to show you how many times that name is used in variouse songs.
• What I will not put in this database is names / songs about national an international celebrities
  you will ask me why not. the answer is very simple: Those song are about THAT person and the songs in this database could be giving you the feeling that these are written for YOU!

Celebrities are now listed on Namelyrics.net and  songs, like "vincent" by Don McLean, or "When Smokey Sings" by ABC are in that database.

Omdat een vertegenwoordiger voor schrijvers van songteksten mij verboden heeft om teksten te publiceren vanwege de copyright, ben ik genoodzaakt om jullie op een andere manier te laten zien waar jullie naam te vinden is in een lied.

Ik zal jullie dus geen teksten laten zien, maar er wel naar toe wijzen, of tenminste laten zien welke artiest met de titel .

Het enige wat je hoeft te doen, is op 'search a name' te klikken en je naam in te voeren.

Omdat er zoveel namen zijn, is het mogelijk dat jouw naam er nog niet bij staat, maar als je een lied kent met jouw naam erin, of als je naam er wel bij staat, maar een bepaald liedje die jij kent met jouw naam erin niet bij staat, stuur of dan even een mailtje.
